We collect as little as we can.

The short version

• The tools on this site work without an account.
• We do not use advertising trackers or tracking cookies. We count visits with a privacy-friendly service that does not identify you.
• Your tool settings stay on your own device.
• We only have your email address if you choose to subscribe to the letter.

What stays on your device

The timers remember the settings you last chose, the sound garden remembers your mix, and the sitting log keeps a list of your finished sessions. All of this is saved in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. The sitting log also has its own clear button.

So that the tools can open without a connection, your browser also keeps a copy of the site's pages and files. This is a cache, not a record of what you do.

Visitor statistics

To see which pages are useful, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and records general details such as the page visited, the referring site, and the type of browser and country. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not track you across other websites. We see totals only, never individual visitors.

The letter

If you subscribe to The Two-Minute Sit, we collect your email address so we can send it to you. The list is managed by an email service provider, which stores your address and delivers the emails on our behalf. We use your address only to send the letter and occasional news about this site. We do not sell or share it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Purchases

Items on the shelf are sold through a separate checkout provider. Payment details are entered on their pages and handled under their privacy policy. We never see your card number. We receive the details needed to deliver your order, such as your name and email address.

Hosting

Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers may briefly log technical details such as your IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it.Write to blessing@thezenguru.com.
